And I couldn't be happier!

:) Thanks!

For those who don't want to read weeks of "But alive!" parodies, they're easily identifiable by the words  "But alive! But alive! But alive!"

For those who don't read castrecl, this is quite some tasty and provocative reading:

WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Liza Minnelli: ‘I’m 80 years old and lucky to be alive’
In an extract from her first ever memoir, the Hollywood icon reveals all about her affairs with Martin Scorsese and Peter Sellers, the OxyContin habit that nearly killed her and the night she believes Lady Gaga betrayed her

She doesn't mention Lisa Mordente?

Saturday morning greetings!  We are having a quiet weekend because Richard has a bad cold.

Hoping Richard feels better soon!

Thanks, DR Freddie!  One of his favorite treatments is sitting in the sun, which he is doing right now.  Of course, it’s pretty cold so he has to bundle up.

Singdaw, do you remember Phyllis (played by Cloris Leachman) on the Mary Tyler Moore Show, being profound about her husband's dermatology business:

"When the economy is bad, dermatologists are the first to get hit:
if people need brain surgery, no matter how trivial, they'll pay for it, but if they get a rash, they just scratch until times get better!".

I was watching Two Minute Warning last night and waiting for the blimp to land on the football field. It never did.

Turns out that happens in another football movie Black Sunday.

  • Dance, if it makes you happy.

Good luck with the taxes. I’m scared to start mine.

I think they'll try to fix the emoticons today - may have to wait until Monday.

This was a cute comment on Facebook directed at someone who suggested that Liza's account of things with Lady Gaga might not be 100% accurate:
"It has been decided: Life will no longer be a cabaret for you, and your world will no longer go round. Sometimes it's kicks, but for contradicting Liza on this very important moment in her life, henceforth and forevermore it will be kicks in the shins for you."

I did indeed have to make new bookmarks, but like a few other things, it only takes a moment. I have one for the notes page and one for the discussion board, and both are working fabulously.

Not only that, I see all avatars, including DR Jrand75's da Vinci sketch.

And the site is moving quicker than I've seen in a very long time. Congratulations and thank you, BK.

DR Elmore, huge HUGE vibes, as always, and a tip o' the hat and huge thanks for Jen for being such a saint of a neighbor.

I'm afraid to ask, but I do want to ask:  What is the status of these various home healthcare assistance programs? Are you still waiting for answers from anyone? Is it stalled? Mainly, I would just ask the universe what in the HELL is wrong with the system, that such applications can't be resolved in something resembling a timely manner?

We've got another birthday here today - Nathan's - so I must get on with things.

His and Kristi's are only 16 days apart, and both born in 1971. They're not the same "sign" (she's Aquarius, he's Pisces), but they are so compatible you'd think they are. Or maybe not, I'm pretty ignorant on all of that, maybe you're more compatible depending on the two signs themselves. Who's the expert here? DR Jrand75?

I probably have more to ketchup on, now that the site is doing so well and especially now that we can upload things.

Actually, I've probably forgotten what I would have uploaded earlier. But it might come to me, and there will always be more.
