Well not quite  day.

And it turns out I had pressed a button on the remote and power button at the same time....which means I just needed to press the power button and the tv button at the same time and all would have been well.

Oh well now things have been dusted that had not been moved or dusted in five years.

I can't make an appointment at this lab.  I got lucky and was the second person in line.  When I left there was a fairly long queue waiting to check in.  I suspect they arrived at 8:00 thinking that is when the lab opened.  I thought the same but still arrived early.  They opened at 7:00.  I'll have to try and remember that next time.

The day is interesting. Several of the kids who were to occupy the main part of my day are absent. So the load is unintentionally lighter.
