I watched it live at a friend's house somewhere in Cleveland Heights, and bought the Deutsche Grammophon LP as soon as it was issued. Yes, I still have it.

It's amazing to think that the telecast was never preserved in any professional way, and I believe this version, while close, is still not complete. But how great to see and hear those incredible singers who [a few of us of a certain age] knew and took for granted.

I have another silly "does anyone have this?" music question, and I know it's a long shot.
Here's a Sinatra/Basie arrangement of "I Only Have Eyes For You":

Is there any chance in HELL that a transcription of this arrangement exists? I don't care if it's ridiculously complex or simplified sheet music, as long as it more or less captures this arrangement. Anything will be of help. Otherwise, I'll be stumbling my way through approximating it myself, and that may not be a pretty sight.

First ice cream was probably chocolate ice cream at Howard Johnson's. They had 28 flavors before Baskin-Robbins 3-upped them with 31.

Although when Baskin-Robbins unveiled 32nd Flavor, that became my favorite for a while. A Heath bar / toffee kind of flavor, if I recall correctly.

Chocolate's still my favorite flavor, preferably a high-quality dark chocolate. Jeni's Darkest Chocolate is great for store-bought.

Toscanini's in Cambridge was the best and I still try to visit every time I get to the Boston area.

But Penny's Ice Creamery and Rick's Rather Rich are really good local choices for us nowadays.

Fruit sorbets in season are great. Chocolate chip in most all its varieties (vanilla, chocolate, mint, cherry) are nice change-of-pace flavors.

Cherry Garcia is another store-bought favorite.

That would have been their English Toffee ice cream.  When we first moved to Ashland I purchased a half tub of this since it had been years between their carrying it.  Alas it seems to be gone for good.

I’m sure Neapolitan, aka choc-van-straw, was my first ice cream because my mom loved it. Dad was always partial to peach.

I love the Mexican ice cream shops we have here with flavors like Gansito and rompopo. The coffee tastes like an iced cafe au lait. The pine nut is delicious. I also like the key lime pie with buttery strands of graham crackers crumbs in a creamy lime base.
