Back from a fun and fast recording session. I do miss being in the studio more, so I had a great time. We got everything we needed and wrapped an hour and a half early.

Just heard from Concord - we sent them all the packaging stuff for The Sherman Brothers Album - he has to run it by legal to make sure all the copyright lines are what they want (they should be) and to make sure the singer releases I sent them say everything they need to - I was very careful to put everything in there that they should need. He asked me when I wanted to release and I said I'd love to announce in the next four weeks so that we'd have CDs in hand for the anniversary of Richard's passing.

I’m amazed I was able to log on. I was getting the secure message several days ago, Bruce told me to clear my cache. I did so, but many other, seemingly unrelated, things changed with it. No idea why, but I had to spend hours trying to get it all back to where it should be again. And I still couldn’t log in. But today it worked! Viola!

I woke up on Wednesday with a massively congested head. I managed to break up the worst of it, though it took me all day, but now I can’t get the virus to just be GONE. It is VERY stubborn.

In other news, the painters have finished, but I am dealing with the next hurdle: flooring. I’d planned on replacing the carpet in the living room and bedroom with hardwood, but
I’m told that the floors are concrete and hardwood requires nailing into the floor, which can’t be done. I’m looking at other options. I didn’t like the first guy who came out, who gave terse, abrupt answers to my questions. I need to bone up on this.I had assumed they would gladly explain things to me. Silly me!

Thanks, Jane. I know of someone who complained about having a horrible cold, with the same symptoms as mine, for a week. I’m usually able to get rid of colds in a day or two, but this one just doesn’t want to leave.

Thank you.  I'm ok. I would be happier if I wasn't dealing with this.  I was able to reduce my prednise by 1mg (it is a slow process).  With each drop things hurt a bit more but it is tolerable so I am pleased.
