Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of the first first new Kritzerland CD release in over a year, and now it is time for you to post until the first new cow in over a year comes home.
-
And the word of the day is: GAMBIT!
-
And a very happy birthday to edisaurus, former dear reader who occasionally returns but not in ages. Why she left is anyone's guess, as everyone adored her.
-
Happy birthday, edisaurus!

Beloved theater journalist Harry Haun has passed away at 85. :)

Good morning, all!
-
I slept very poorly, following a very sickly night. I do not feel bad this moorning, but my chest and abdomen ache from the violence.
-
I wanted to sleep in, but there was too much on my mind this morning, and I have a phone appointment around 10:00 to try another Home Healthcare assessment, more bureaucratic bullshit I'd rather avoid.
-
DR Iris. it was so wonderful to see your posts from last night. I hope everything is well with you.
-
And a very happy birthday to our former DR edisaurus.

DR Michael G, while I do not know all the ins and outs of the Packard Humanities Institute's failed musical theater project. I know way too much on the madness surrounding the release of the McGlinn recordings in the past twenty years. I believe John McGlinn, who died on Feb. 14, 2009, caused much of the problem; once he was asked to leave the project, it suffered from no leadership. It cannot have been easy for David to discover the person he had put a multi-million dollar project in the hands of a person with major issues. If I had three words to describe my ten years of employment with the Institute, I would go with:
fun
annoying
disappointing

Do you sense that at some point, David in effect just said I'm doing this for the joy of it, not money, and I need to just cut loose financially, as I'm not enjoying this any more? Or maybe there was some cost-benefit analysis to this whole thing?
Others may not know this: Skip was there working with you for a long time back then. I'd visited the office several times over the years.

Good morning, all.
-
Busy day ahead. Ugly bills to pay. Hmm. Sounds like a Tuesday.
-
Good morning to all.

Good to see DR IRIS last night.

Happy Birthday DR edisaurus.
She may be at Sleepaway Camp right now.

Headed for 31 degrees.

I watched about 3/4 of IF I HAD LEGS, I'D KICK YOU.
Couldn't take anymore. Not for me. The leading lady has been nominated and has won many best actress awards. She is nominated for the AA Award as well.
Right now I am torn between Kate Hudson and Emma Stone - with a strong leaning toward Kate.
-
Good morning, all.

And a Very Happy Birthday to DR Edisaurus! I also wished her a FB birthday.

I added the new Kritzerland release to CastAlbums org (https://castalbums.org/) here:

I included info to link the Tony Kinsey tracks (https://castalbums.org/recordings/How-to-Succeed-in-Business-Without-Really-Trying-1963-Tony-Kinsey-Quintet/9053), but either I did something wrong or that takes time to show up.

No. I think that once McGlinn was sacked, he didn't know what to do.

I like this vegetable tip seen on Facebook, offered by a fellow named Rob Falk:
"I'm not a fan of kale, but I've heard that if you add just a bit of coconut oil to it. it's a lot easier to slide it off your plate into the garbage."
-
DR FJL Conan was okay in the movie.....he added some needed sanity - for the most part.

From DR Iris,
Who wants to visit me?
😄
If I won't visit my kids I'm not going to visit you ;D
Our son in Maryland who is a teacher still has not returned to work. I've noticed other school districts opening but not his.
-
DR Iris it was nice to see you posting on your birthday. Best of vibes to you.
-
From DR John,
I started an L.M. Mongomery novel today called The Blue Castle. I loved the Anne of Green Gables books and had never heard of this one. Well, it’s not a children’s book, but it has proven addictive. And I may even finish it tonight.
I'm very pleased you are enjoying this, possibly as much as I did. I think I enjoyed reading it more the second time.
-
When I first picked up Anne of Green Gables as an adult I didn't know it was the first in a series. I was quickly hooked and purchased all of them to read, plus The Blue Castle.
-
John, I enjoyed reading about your special ed students.
-
Happy Birthday DR edisaurus.

I read Anne after getting a musical version. I loved them so much, I got them for Mom. She loved them as much as the Little House books.

Could be either DR JANE, but I'm thinking it's real.
-
Good morning.

I'm hosting a group tonight whose speaker will talk about the mating habits of dinosaurs. Or something like that.
-
So I made some dinosaur cookies. Whimsical dinosaurs. Plus a chocolate bundt cake that will have red icing oozing over the sides.
-
Kerry's mixer has been whirling away.
-
Last month at the meeting, I ran out of coffee because it was so cold out. Tonight it is supposed to be around 75 degrees, so I guess I won't run out.

These are the kinds of things I want to worry about. I miss the days when we thought about meaningless things.

Back from breakfast and errands and now I think I'll just keep going and futz and finesse when I finish this chapter.

I began reading Little House long after the tv series. I was reading it with Bryan and we both got bored ;D

Dear Kerry is missed. I thought of him on Monday and meant to mention it to you.

Yes, much less stress and more joy.

UPDATE: Phil has broken his silence! After yesterday’s controversial departure from PHL, the Groundhog has issued his first statement. He’s aware people are upset. He’s also… noticeably unbothered. Stay tuned to see how this story unfolds!

Have written for two hours straight and am on the last page or two of the penultimate chapter. After I finish that, it's about eight or nine pages to the end. I'll take a break now and then I suspect I'll try to finish by the end of the evening or even before.

Hello, everyone.
-
Hi DR Jeanne.
-
Today was Dental Day. It went relatively smoothly— as smoothly as drilling can.
My mouth is still numb. I somehow feel off overall.
But it’s done.
-
Thanks for the dental vibes. Always useful.

DR JANE there are a few more REELS on Facebook with the same husky - so I don't think it's AI.
-
Glad to hear MR BK's writing is moving along.
-
Dennis the Smart Car started right up when I went out to give him a try this afternoon.
So now at last my arm is complete!
-
Two things I learned from the internet today:
Josephine Hull was married to the brother of actor Henry Hull. His name was Shelly and he died in the influenza epidemic in 1919.
Baseball player Sandy Koufax' s first wife was Anne Widmark, the daughter of actor Richard Widmark. They were married from 1969 to 1982.
-
Now we are all set for Final Jeopardy if they ask the right question.

We had a treat tonight, dinner out with friends.
-
I do believe I just finished a book. I'm sure there will be a ton of futzing and finessing tomorrow, but I just wrote the book's final line, which was so unexpected and so right - hadn't thought of it before, don't know why it came to me, but I could not ask for a better closing line.
-
Now, I think I'll celebrate with some ice cream. And I don't care who knows it.

Good evening.

They ate everything, except two pieces of volcano cake.
-
Page five???
-
Finished with my viewing - two documentaries.
-
Greetings from the night crew.
-
Harry Haun, an old coworker of mine at Playbill I’d see now and again. Maybe spoke to him once or twice.
-
Not enough the impending worries about Mrs Rodz’s job, today my boss was given the boot. No idea what that means. I think I’m in a mildly profitable segment of the company, but who knows?
-
He was the COO over us and a newspaper in Rhode Island and some other stuff. I still have a publisher above me. Maybe she’ll check in tomorrow.
-
Been looking for other things regardless.
-
Good to see Iris up in here last night.
-
Page five?
-
STILL?
-
How can that be?
-
It seems wrong.
-
So, let's move it along.
-
While singing a song.
-
Forget the bong.
-
We must get off this damn page.
-
Perhaps we should all do the Dance at the Gym
-
If I did it it would be grim.
-
A cheree that would be chim.
-
But filled to the brim.
-
I'd do it with Jim or Kim.
-
And go out on a limb.
-
And tell the secret of Nimh.
-
And be a bit prim.
-
And maybe get trim.
-
Do on a whim.
-
Well, at least it's page six.
-
New notes are up.
-
Up are new notes.
-
I've seen them.
-
I've read them.
-
I wrote them.

Hopefully, they're not going to be downsizing any more.
